If you're not on MySpace, you should get on MySpace and add me as a friend. I need all the friends I can get. If you are already on MySpace, you should skip the "get on MySpace" step.I've got a profile and it is here:http://profiles.myspace.com/users/9277261Now go show me what kind of friend you are.

I don't even know why I'm posting this. I suppose because I'm such a Toulouse-Lautrec fan. This is an extract from a book that makes the groundbreaking claim that Toulouse-Lautrec was deformed, troubled by it and a great artist. I wish I could get paid to make observations that pretty much everyone has held for the past 100 years.

I'm assuming this is legit. I always wonder about these "click and we'll send a dying child something delightful" sites. So much depends on faith. I prefer to think that when I click on the button a kid gets a book.

The weird thing here is I'm not sure if I'd use this article to argue that the theater is officially dead or that it is more powerful than ever. The fact that this discussion is being had over this show indicates a little of both for me. Maybe it indicates that the theater is a powerful, high profile revolutionary in the cross hairs of a right wing assassins gun.
