Here's an interesting, well written, sensible, level headed look at the question "What kind of a world would we live in if Disney's Snow White had flopped?"

When is the Food Network going to give Tom Aikens his own show? That's the cooking show I want to see.

And if you go here, you can download (for free) a nice batch of songs from Black Tape for Blue Girl's recent tour. It includes Nicki Jaine's awesome version of All Tomorrow's Parties.

I can't recommend this highly enough. The Projekt Christmas albums are great fun and always really well done. I look forward to Thanksgiving every year because then I can start them into my music rotation.
This year they have a holiday single. It's really cheap. It's got bombastic old Voltaire doing the first track, which is pretty good. But the reason it buy it is Nicki Jaine's version of Little Drummer Boy. It's really chilling.

I suppose I shouldn't, being who I am, find tactics like these funny as hell. But I do. I laughed my ass off at this ad. I think it's a brilliant shift in tactics on the part of the animal right people. If showing the rich bastards pictures of horrible mutilations doesn't work, try calling the rich people ugly.
